🔧 Fix SSH on this PC (v2 — standalone OpenSSH)

This PC's built-in OpenSSH installer is broken ("Class not registered"), so this fix installs the real OpenSSH (standalone build, 5.7 MB) and sets everything up: host keys, Tailscale-only port 22, Atlas key, service. Run it in an ADMIN PowerShell.

1. EASIEST — download the .txt (browsers never block it), open in Notepad, copy everything, paste into admin PowerShell:

⬇ Download fix-ssh-v2-full.txt (copy-paste version)

Open it in Notepad → Ctrl+A → Ctrl+C → in an ADMIN PowerShell right-click to paste → Enter. No file blocking, no "(1)" suffix — it always works.

2. Or the .ps1 (if your browser lets it through):

⬇ Download fix-ssh-v2.ps1

Right-click → Run with PowerShell → Yes. If your browser shows "file couldn't be accessed", use option 1 instead — that's the browser blocking .ps1 files.

3. Or use the all-in-one zip (contains the .ps1 + the OpenSSH installer already):

⬇ Download fix-ssh.zip (all-in-one)

Extract it, right-click fix-ssh.ps1 → Run with PowerShell → Yes.

4. Or copy/paste into admin PowerShell:

  1. Click Copy script below.
  2. Open PowerShell as Administrator (Start → type "powershell" → right-click → Run as administrator → Yes).
  3. Right-click in the window to paste, press Enter.

Diagnostic (only if sshd still won't start) — send the output to Atlas:

⬇ Download fix-ssh-diagnose.txt

When it finishes you should see SSHD_STATUS=Running. Tell Atlas the output.
